
A: Filling out a profile will allow our recruiters to match you to a potential study based on your demographic information. If you are a general match a recruiter will then phone you and ask you a series of screening questions. If you match the criteria you will be given a list of available appointment times and invited to participate.
A: Typically our research opportunities take place at research headquarters. Once you are booked for an appointment you will be sent an email (or letter if you don't have email) which will give you directions to the facility. There are other types of projects as well, but they are not typical.
A: Yes! Market research participants are paid very well.
A: Usually payment is in the form of cash.
A: Most appointments range from 1 to 2 hours long, depending on the subject being researched & the type of study in which you are participating.
A: One type of study is the Focus Group, which is a group of people who gather together to discuss a particular product or idea. The second type of market research we recruit for is a ?Usability Study? which is when the study participant uses a product and gives verbal (and sometimes written) feedback on the product. Another type of study is a one-on-one interview.
A: Absolutely not! These opportunities are solely for the benefit of research.
A: No, we will never sell your profile or any information you give us. Our clients receive basic demographic information and the answers to your screening questions.
A: Occasionally you may be asked to do some type of at home exercise to prepare for the group. Payment for the group will reflect the added responsibility.
A: For a study related to the internet you are usually required to have internet access at home. However, there are other opportunities when it doesnt matter.
